Parents, Our class will be participating in Field Day on May 16 from 10:20-12:00! Coach Bowers needs two parent volunteers from each class to help run stations. The station our class is in charge of is Leap the Creek! (see below for game description). Our class will begin field day with this station, so I will be helping you become familiar with the game. STATION #5 - Leap the CreekAll students are in a single file line. Two jump ropes are placed approx. 3 feet apart. The area between the ropes represents the creek. Students will take turns leaping over the creek without touching the ropes or landing in the creek. After everyone has had a turn, the ropes are moved further apart, and the creek becomes larger. If a student does land in the creek, they become creek guards, helping watch for anyone who may land in the creek.
